Este año tuve la oportunidad de trabajar varios proyectos para Artículo 19 México y estoy muy contenta, me encanta que me dan libertad creativa y lo mejor de todo es que he podido hacer muchas ilustraciones 🙂 Y es que ustedes no lo saben, pero siempre me he sentido muy insegura de mis habilidades como ilustradora (¡Hola, síndrome de impostora!) y haber podido hacer muchas cosas de ilustración y además que me paguen, ha sido muy hermoso.

This year I had the opportunity to work on several projects with Article 19 Mexico and I’m very very happy, they give me all the creative freedom I love and the best of all is I get to do illustrations 🙂 Of course, you are not aware of this, but I’m very insecure when it comes to my skills as an illustrator (Hello, impostor syndrome!) so being able to draw and get payed for it has been amazing.

Todos los proyectos en los que trabajo me consta que están llenos de muchísimas emociones, trabajo y corazón. Pero este podcast de verdad fue más allá. Las hosts son dos chicas que son parte de STEMblazers y de verdad, trabajaron súper duro para lograrlo. I know for a fact, all projects I have worked on are filled with emotions, hard work and a lot of heart. But this podcast went above and beyond. This season hosts are two girls, who are part of STEMblazers, and they both worked really hard to launch this season. Working on this branding was a true joy. Listen to the podcast here.

Cecilia, su creadora, me dio completa libertad creativa y quise hacer algo que se viera distinto y que destacara en el mercado. Pueden seguirla y revisar más de su marca dando clic aquí.

This was my latest branding project and I loved it! I got the chance to design all the branding for Mirai, a jewelry store in Mexico. Cecilia, the mastermind behind Mirai, gave me complete creative freedom (which is always highly appreciated), so I wanted to do something different and that would stand out in the market. Tuve la oportunidad de hacer unas ilustraciones para unos textos para Artículo 19 México. Los textos eran sobre migrantes, indígenas, afromexicanxs y la población LGBT en México.

I had the opportunity to illustrate some journalistic pieces for Article 19 Mexico. The pieces where about migrants, indigenous people, afromexicans and LGBT population in Mexico.

¿Han visto esta serie? Cómo me hubiera encantado tener contenido así en mi adolescencia, donde se hablara de un montón de temas sin miedo, sin tabúes. Mi escena favorita fue ésta: A una de las chicas la acosan en el camión de camino a la escuela, al punto en el que después del incidente tiene pavor de volver a tomarlo. Cuando el resto del grupo de chicas se entera, la acompañan a tomarlo para darle ánimos. Me identifiqué muchísimo y me dio mucha emoción. Si tienen oportunidad, vean este serie. Es lo máximo. Cero estoy en el target, pero igual la amo.

Have you seen this show? I would have loooved to have this kind of content during my teenage years, where a lot of topics were discussed without fears or tabus. My favorite scene is this one: One of the girls was harassed on the bus on the way to school, after that incident she’s super scared to get on the bus again. So when the rest of the girls of the group find out, they all support her and join her on the bus to keep her company. I really identified with this and got very emotional. If you get the chance, watch this show, you will not regret it! I’m definitely not the show’s target but whatever, I still love it.
