ilustracion201Tenía muchísimo tiempo que no me inspiraba para ilustrar algo personal, todo había sido de trabajo. Pero hace un par de días, vi la foto de una chica con un cabello increíble y dije: Tengo que ilustrarla. Y de ahí no pude parar. Siempre el cuerpo humano, sin importar su complexión, me ha parecido algo mágico. Me emociona ilustrar por gusto.

It had been quite a while since I got inspired to illustrate something that wasn’t work related. But a few days ago I saw a picture of this girl with great hair and just thought: I have to draw her. And from then on I haven’t been able to stop. The human body, regardless of its size, has always amazed me. Almost like it’s something magical. As you can tell, I’m very excited to be drawing for my own pleasure.

Diseño de cerveza

Acabo de diseñar este logotipo para una cerveza artesanal hecha en Ecatepec. Querían que el logo incluyera el símbolo de la leyenda del Quinto Sol. Decidí hacerlo mucho más lineal y geométrico para hacerlo más actual y limpio.

I just designed this logo for a small handcrafted beer company in Ecatepec. They wanted the logo to include the Quinto Sol symbol (part of a mesoamerican legend), I did, but I decided to make it a lot more geometric to make it modern and clean.

Valerio es el proyecto de Ana Paulina, una amiga que decidió dar el salto a la repostería. La idea era hacer una imagen súper limpia, moderna y honesta. Valerio is a homemade bakery created by Ana Paulina, a friend who decided to start baking for a living. The idea was to make a clean, modern and honest brand. Besides loving the final graphic result, everything she bakes is delicious (try the cheesecake with strawberries and the alfajores <3) so I’m really happy to be able to work in a project like this. Equalizer es una aplicación (en trabajo todavía) que servirá para repartir de manera equitativa las tareas de la casa, en especial para familias con hijxs. La idea de la app fue de mi hermana, Rocío y su amiga Michelle. Espero pronto tener más noticias de esta app porque en serio, nos urge una mejor repartición del trabajo no remunerado.

Equilizer is an app (still on the works) that will help to distribute in an equal way the housework, specially for families with kids. It was created by my sister Rocío and her friend Michelle. I hope to hear more about this app soon because we really need a better distribution of house work.
